Day 1-- June 17, 2021 -- "One Down"

We are off, continuing our flying adventure!
Leaving North Perry Airport, FL early enough  to beat the storms.

Happy to be past the clouds.

First fuel stop at Bainbridge, GA (KBGE).  Bainbridge Airport was built by the Air Force to train pilots in WWII.
We met the nicest people.  Mark fueled MOJO.

West Memphis, AR (Is this really Arkansas?)  KAWM was our first landing to add another state to our 48.

Flying across the Mississippi River to Memphis

Are we in Kansas anymore???  Overnighting at DeWitt Spain Airport (M01)

We get to spend the night with Claudette's sister, Janie.  Thank you, Janie.

  1. What a wonderful successful start to a long in the making , but very well planned second year of adventure for two of the very best women I know!

Roger, I'm really pleased to know you were there to help see these super pilots off on the second half of their journey. thank you for taking the departure photo. I like seeing them buckled in an a 'RAR'IN' to go!

Hugs and cheers to all for a very safe, fun filled journey.
