We had so much fun with the Appalachian Aviatrixes at Tri Cities (Chapter chair Janice Pelletti, Meagan Harr, Pam Phillips Mary, and more). Pam, the owner of the FBO and a 99, plans community outreach opportunities for the community to interact with the airport and learn the value of the local airport.

Hi Myra and Claudette,
ReplyDeleteMyra many thanks for the photos. They're GREAT. Especially the one of you both (Look'n really good :-)). At this rate, Claudette is going to need another suitcase to accommodate her new wardrobe of T-Shirts and hats :-) (BTW, I do like the hat colors. Really sharp with the shirts) Thanks also for the Air Force Veteran photo. Do you know what position the Veteran was in aboard the B-29? My Dad started out in the Air Force in 1951 after boot camp, then schooling and training as a mechanic for the B-29s. Then with more schooling and training he flew the 29s as engineer for a little while before transferring to "TANKERS" (AKA refuelers) (KC-97) as a flight engineer in the 60s.
Hoping you two get a break today with the weather. Hugs, Dan
